What factors influenced your decision to choose this experience for your internship?
There are many factors that influenced my decision to choose this experience for my internship. The main factors that truly made me want to apply for this internship were getting experience in a mentorship position, getting to learn more about what the middle school students would do their projects on, and overall getting to gain many valuable skills and be able to grow as leader.
What advice do you have for other students as they search for their internship?
Some advice I have for other students is to be patient. I know that I was looking for internships but did not think I would get this internship so soon in the beginning of my college career. In addition, take opportunities where you will be able to grow to be the best version of yourself you can be wherever that may be.
How has your internship experience influenced your plans for your future?
My internship experience has definitely solidified my love for being able to help and inspire others. This opportunity has also helped me with wanting to teach ag in the future, as this has been a similar experience.
