Why did you choose your internship?
I chose to pursue an internship with Arizona Association FFA because it is an organization that help to build me as the individual that I have become. Their mission is to serve students to grow themselves through their peers and serve others as they do so is what their success is attributed to. This internship offered me the opportunity to see the work that I do go into affect while being able to continue to work with and develop not only the people around me, but also myself.
What advice do you have for other students as they search for their internship?
As one begins to find their calling in life, or even a short exhibition, it is important to understand that you cannot know until you simply try. Be diverse in your search and do not be afraid of not being all that familiar with the work as it will be a learning experience for you one way or another. Coming to the realization that you do not want to pursue and option is just as valuable in your search as finding something that you love to do.
